12/04 SOLD OUT Meatless Monday Pav Bhaji and Paneer Tikka
When I was a kid my father used to think it was hilarious to offer to make us a mashed potato sandwich, something in my mind that was bland and tasteless. Pav Bhaji, a popular Indian street food is anything but bland! IYKYK, but if you don’t, I would love to introduce you to this amazing dish and you will see why it is so loved in India! Potatoes and assorted veggies cooked together with ginger, tomato and spices create a delicious filling for a soft freshly baked pillowy pav. Don’t forget to add a squeeze of lime and a sprinkling of red onions and chilis to your taste.
As a side I’ll be grilling up some Paneer Tikka, soft paneer and fresh bell peppers in a yogurt spiced marinade served with mint chutney.
Each meal enough for 3 slider sized sandwiches and 2 Tikka skewers.
